Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the building blocks of proteins. Research peptides are synthetic compounds used in scientific and laboratory studies to investigate biological processes. They are not approved for human use and are sold strictly for research purposes.
All products sold by Ascend Peptides are for research use only and are not intended for human consumption. Our peptides undergo third-party laboratory testing to verify purity and identity. We provide COAs (Certificates of Analysis) upon request.
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which prevents bacterial growth. It is commonly used in laboratories to reconstitute lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide vials. If you purchase a vial, we include 3ml BAC water, 10 syringes, and 10 swabs with your order.
To reconstitute a lyophilised peptide: 1) Allow the vial to reach room temperature. 2) Using a sterile syringe, slowly inject the specified amount of bacteriostatic water down the side of the vial. 3) Gently swirl — do not shake. 4) Store reconstituted peptides in the fridge at 2–8°C and use within 28 days. This process is for research use only.

Research peptides are not controlled substances in the UK. They are legal to purchase and possess for legitimate research purposes. They are not licensed medicines and must not be used for human consumption. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
